National Lacrosse Combine was created to manage and maximize changes felt in Lacrosse—both on-field and in the recruiting process. Because, while the exploding number of college-bound lacrosse athletes has made the recruiting process less manageable, NOW coaches should be encouraged about the increased potential to get great athletes as well. NLC helps locate the athletes that coaches ultimately want on their teams by

NEW STANDARDIZED LAX DATA: The SATs of Lacrosse... —
NLC has addressed the shortfalls of the recruiting process from both sides—coaches and athletes—and come up with a new way to get standardized lacrosse data to coaches. Male and female athletes from around the country go through our groundbreaking lacrosse-specific Combine. Athletic testing is made more relevant to lacrosse play. Skills testing clarifies athletes' abilities, no matter where they are from. Finally, coaches are able to get an athlete's shooting accuracy, shot speed, clearing accuracy, etc., in addition to their lacrosse-specific speed, strength and agility. This allows for better evaluation of both player statistics and player ability.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL—Not just hotbed heroes and those in the inner circle —
Every male or female athlete who has undergone NLC testing competes on a level playing field. This opens up the possibilities for coaches, because they can use the objective data as a filter for evaluating which athletes are worth pursuing further.

Not only does this open up the pool of candidates, it saves coaches time and resources, as they decide who is really a prospect for their team.

Alternatively, athletes can search for college lacrosse programs within the NLC database, using Name, State, Division and men's or women's programs as criteria. This potentially educates those athletes to the fact that many more lacrosse options match their abilities, putting more programs and coaches in front of them. So, not only does searching the NLC site get more possible recruits in front of coaches, it gets more coaches in front of athletes as well.

COMPLETE PLAYER PROFILES: Viewable online —
Combine data is a critical piece to the puzzle, but athletes also provide further academic and athletic information in what becomes the most complete online player profiles available. Once created, these NLC profiles become an easy way to open the door for future interest by an unsuspecting coach.

• Athletes send coaches email notification that theirs is a school of interest.
• Coaches will see that the email is from athlete@NationalLacrosseCombine.com, qualifying the info they are about to view.
• This introduction to a potential prospect becomes a way to filter and assess talent before committing time and resources to any potential recruits.

HIGHLIGHTS VIEWED via NLC LINK—no more mountains on coaches' desks —
Instead of receiving (and keeping track of ) hundreds of player reels, NLC Profiles incorporate videos right into them. If a player is a potential recruit, and a coach decides to bookmark them in their NLC account, viewing highlight reels is as easy as clicking on a link. Coaches get the same amount of video, but without the clutter. Also, coming soon, is the ability for athletes to upload their "Latest & Greatest" quick highlight clip from a game, camp, etc. Coaches will be able to see this info with the same convenient link to the athlete's Profile.

RELIABLE, VERIFIED Athletic and Academic Information —
Coaches do not have to worry about the information included in NLC Profiles. When an athlete completes his or her profile, certain information cannot be input until NLC receives confirmation from that athlete's school, coaches, and testing services. No one can make himself or herself look any better than who that athlete truly is.

AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION when athletes meet a coach's SPECIFIC CRITERIA —
Because NLC understands the overwhelming demand on coaches' time, we have tried to make our process as ideal as possible for them. When they register for our recruiting site, coaches can input their specific recruiting needs. This allows OUR filter to start making the right connections. As soon as those criteria are put into the NLC system, coaches will be sent links to existing athletes who meet the recruiting criteria. And afterwards, coaches will get automatic email notifications when newly-registered athletes match search results with links to those prospective recruits' Profile pages. So without actively scouring the database for athletes, coaches will receive information that will ultimately lighten some of the load.

A VARIETY of INDIVIDUALIZED, STRATEGIC SEARCH FUNCTIONS —
In addition to searching for athletes according to upcoming vacancies on their teams, coaches can fine-tune searches down to great specificity: Looking for a midfielder with SATs above 1800, shot speed of at least 85mph, 300 shuttle time of under 50 seconds and a 40-yd dash time under 5 seconds? That level of refinement is not only possible, it is encouraged at NLC recruiting. Using this unique search ability allows coaches to be analytical, strategic, efficient, successful.

COMPARE MULTIPLE (up to FIVE!) ATHLETES SIDE-BY-SIDE —
And what happens when a coach has narrowed down a few of his or her NLC athletes but really wants to rank them in order of preference? Try laying out those athletes side-by-side to compare their individual "features," like specific academic, athletic, or standardized statistics. This unique way to assess similar athletes is new to online recruiting and can only be found at NLC.

KEEP PROSPECTS ORGANIZED —
When coaches are contacted by NLC-registered athletes, they can bookmark players they want to follow and organize their preferences by categorizing them by position, graduation date, comments and wow-factor (using stars).

KEEP YOUNG PROSPECTS ON THE RADAR —
Before contacts can really commence, coaches can keep tabs on younger phenoms registered on the NLC site. Athletes know that recruitment is getting more intense and "starting" earlier and earlier. NLC athletic profiles are not for upper classmen alone. Underclassmen with real ability are starting to go through combine testing, to get highlight videos made and to create Profiles younger and younger. Coaches can search by graduation year and see if any youth player will be a standout around the corner.

Info CONVERTIBLE TO EXCEL SPREADSHEET —
There is more than one way to keep NLC info at a coach's fingertips. If used to more traditional excel spreadsheets, coaches can have their favorites and their bookmarked athletes converted to that format as well.
